Personal History: Grew up in northern England, along with his parents and younger sister. His mother has a comfortable business job in advertising, and his father is an artist for various graphic novels. His family is overall warm, accepting, and ‘normal’. When he received his letter from Hogwarts, his parents were parts amused and skeptical. They looked into it, however, and easily transitioned into having a wizard for a son, as he easily transitioned into being one.

Personality: Peter is the sort of boy who constantly played pirates and cowboys and any other adventure game that involved sharp objects being thrown at people… but all in good fun! Of course, he’s too old for that now. He has an excess of energy and a need for having something to dooo. Whether it’s desperately practicing quidditch to one day be on the Gryff team or falling from various towers and breaking bones etc etc. He is widely friendly to everyone he meets, and quite daft when it comes to understanding other people. As such he is sometimes oblivious to what he says and how it affects others. It was also a bit of a blow to him when he discovered that Gryffindors just don’t associate with Slytherins. He still tries to get along with everyone, with various degrees of disappointment. He very much loves being a muggle, as he thinks it’s wonderfully funny to quote from movies or TV shows and have all the purebloods boggle. Is entirely void from self-conciousness and when he’s pointed in a direction to actually do something important, his dedication knows no bounds. So lacking self-conciousness is he, that he’s under the impression that everyone’s absolutely delighted to have him around. Being often unaware of what people are actually doing, he doesn’t usually realize it when people do not like him. All in all, he’s incredibly down to earth, while appearing to be a typical Gryff.

Personal History: Andy is a military brat. His father, Edgar Frazer was born in America and joined the army at a young age. Andrew's mother, Beth, is English and met Edgar on a holiday in the US when she was 19. She moved there a year later to marry Edgar and 3 years later they had Andrew. For the first 4 years of his life Andrew grew up on a military base, a place he found stuffy and unbearable. There were so many rules and regulations and he was just a kid, he just wanted to run around and be free. Instead he was constantly doing chores. He wished they could be anywhere but on that base as he didn't have a close relationship with either of his parents, nor did he have any friends. He soon got his wish and over the next five years they moved 4 times, something which Andrew hated as much as staying at the base. What was the use of freedom if you didn't have time to make friends and explore your world? He did find one source of comfort and that was TV. On TV he could watch what it was like to be a normal family and have friends. He relished it. It was watching TV that he discovered two strange things about himself. One, he made the coffee table float when his father told him turn off the TV. And two, girls didn't interest him at all. It was the local weatherman that did it for Andrew. He couldn't keep the first thing a secret, his father had seen him move the table, but he knew he'd have to keep his sexuality a secret. He knows exactly what his father thinks of homosexuals and he's in no hurry for him to find out.

Edgar was confused as to why Andy could move a coffee table without lifting a finger and he was deeply ashamed he had such an unnatural son. He threatened Andy and told him that he was going to send him for 'tests', but after Andrew promised he would enlist in the army when he was old enough, Edgar decided to keep his son's magic a secret. Having a son serve his country was evidently more important than finding out what caused the unnatural-ness. He even kept it a secret from the boy's mother.

When Andrew was 10, Edgar, now a Colonel, got an offer to move to England for a permanent position teaching at a top military academy. He took the opportunity and the family headed back to Beth's home country. Andrew was eager, finally somewhere they could settle for a long time. However, the family had just enrolled him in public school when his Hogwarts letter arrived. Edgar agreed he could go if Andy would still keep his promise to enlist when he graduated. Andrew agreed of course and headed off for Hogwarts under the guise of joining a military school. Edgar was determined Beth would never find out her son was strange.

Personality: While not the most common sign for Gryffindors to be born under, the combination of Gryffindor aims with Capricorn traits results in wizards who are exceptionally well balanced. For once, here are Gryffindors who will not go charging off on quests without first making thorough preparations and arranging for backup. They are resourceful, well grounded, and self confident, hard workers, and extremely reliable. You can always trust a Gryffindor Capricorn's word; they will not only mean it when they say they will do something, they will follow through successfully. House Prefects often come from this sign, because they are responsible, good students, and natural leaders. What many people forget about the Capricorn is that although they are part goat, they are also part mermaid. That mermaid half represents all the fanciful dreams and lofty ambitions that the quiet Capricorn often hides beneath an unassuming surface. Perhaps Capricorns are sorted into this House because the House needs balance, but those hidden dreams and whimsies probably have a lot to do with it, too.

Without truly realising it, the first ten years of his life have shaped who Andrew is. He is extraordinarily polite and respectful to adults, having grown up answering ‘yes Sir’ and ‘no Mam’ to every adult he had contact with. But with people his own age, he’s completely different. He can bend and stretch his personality so he can relate to anyone, no matter what their race, religion or background might be. He’s very outgoing and yet he’s more than happy to spend a day by himself, wrapped inside his thoughts. He is careful not to draw too much attention to himself, the last thing he wants is anyone wondering about him and figuring out he’s gay. Andy keeps it a secret from everyone, even his closest friends, in case SOMEHOW it gets back to his father. He is starting to crack under the pressure though, he hates having so many secrets.

Andrew will defend anyone he considers an underdog probably because he’s overcompensating for not being able to stand up for himself to his father. He has lost count of the number of fights he’s been in; it’s the one area of his life where he doesn’t think everything through first before acting. While this does draw unwanted attention on him, he figures it’s for the best, it makes him look manly.

He has a rather dry sense of humour and he overuses sarcasm as a defence. If he has a problem, rather than sort it out, he’ll push it to the side.

Physical Description: Andrew thinks he's rather plain with brown hair and brown eyes. He's a decent height, standing in at 5'8" and he's of average weight, about 145, perhaps a little bit on the skinny side. He's not very muscular at all but he's trying to build his upper body strength up. He has a small scar on his cheek and needs glasses to read.

Personal History: Kazu is Chen’s older twin brother. He was born to his parents Hiroyuki and Anna. He grew up right alongside his brother, and they did everything together. They went to the same school and were very exclusive when it came to making friends. They were almost always holding hands as well. Then there was a time when they were both eight years old, that Hiroyuki had urgent family business back in his home country, Japan. Anna was about to travel with him, but her own work called for her presence in England. Hiroyuki wanted to take the boys with him, but Anna wouldn’t allow it. So they decided that they would each take one for a little while. That was absolutely devastating for Kazu. He missed Chen like no other when he lived that little while in Japan. After a year, Hiroyuki finished taking care of his father, and he and Kazu returned to England.

From the time he spent in Japan, Kazu had become fluent in Japanese, and was more familiar with that culture as opposed to the one he was born into. He conversed a lot with his father in Japanese. Chen didn’t know too much Japanese, so he took up a few summer courses. After a while, they both got their letters inviting them to Hogwarts. Kazu couldn’t have been more excited. Not at the fact that he was a wizard, but the fact that Chen was going with him.

Upon arriving at Hogwarts, the twins were sorted. Chen was sorted first, and of course, he made it into Ravenclaw. Kazu was eager to also be sorted into Ravenclaw. When the Sorting Hat called Gryffindor, Kazu felt devastated. Here he was, separated from his brother again. He barely made it to the Gryffindor table before sulking into a fit of depression. He got used to it after a few weeks, for he made friends within his house, but he missed having Chen with him all of the time. It was during that time that they began to grow separate personalities, almost. Kazu became more confident and strong-willed, while Chen became more studious and a bit conceited.

Personality: Kazu is generally pretty laid back. He doesn’t like picking fights with people unless they’re really asking for it. Most of the time he’s content with a bowl of cocoa puffs and a comfortable couch, but he can also get pretty grumpy as well. Kazu is protective of his younger twin, Chen, and doesn’t like to see him picked on. He’s also protective of women and young children. Though he seems to have a totally nonchalant character, he is a HUGE softie on the inside. He would give anything for a good relationship with someone, and he’s a real gentleman in reality. He’s the type of guy who would open the door for a woman or lay a coat down over a puddle. Unfortunately, Kazu has a violent temper. When he gets angry, he usually tries physical brawls as opposed to using magic. Kazu also has a terrifying fear of foxes (his boggart takes the form of a large fox).
Physical Description: Standing at about 5'10", Kazu is well built. He’s fit, but he’s not HUGE with muscle or anything. He’s lean as opposed to muscular. He has straight brown hair that reaches just past his chin. He styles it so that his bangs are in his face, just like Chen does. Though he and his brother look similar, he does have a different facial structure than Chen. His is more masculine, and he has more of a defined chin. He has broader shoulders, and he’s taller. Most of the time, Kazu has a bored or tired expression on his face. He also has a charming smile.

Personal History: Born March 12, Louvika had a rather happy childhood, with nothing much to note. Her parents (Wallace Jeaurox and Kittias Hawkins) supposedly met on a Muggle cruise ship, had a rather good time, and Lou joined the party nine months later. Kirrias and Wallace never married-- they just didn't have the time. He, a jazz player and composer, was usually on the road playing at gigs all over the world. And she was working sometimes three jobs at a time to make sure everything was going well on the home front. Plus, Lou came to discover, neither wanted to be 'tied down'.

She went to a public Muggle grammer school in the nearby town when she was old enough. Her younger brother, Malachy Ira, was born August 22 seven years after her. After Mally was born, the stress of putting up with two precocious magical children became a bit too much for the rather aloof Wallace Jeaurox, and, frightened, he left his family, putting them into financial jeopardy. Right after her father left, Lou's Aunt Morrigan, whose husband had died long before, moved into the house with her son Bacchus, who was one year older than Lou. Although they only lived there for a short couple of years, Bacchus gladly accepted the role of Big Brother from Lou and he has fiercely protected her to this day.

Lou spent her last year before Hogwarts taking care of her little brother while her mother worked, instead of being at school. She arrived at Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor house almost immediately-- much to the chargrin of her cousin, Illiad-- who was not.
Her first year of schooling went by quick and uninterrupted (although she did hear from a very short note from her mother that her father had remarried and was expecting a child with his new wife).

During the summer before her second year at Hogwarts, however, Malachy wandered out into the wood near the Hawkins’ house and was attacked by a werewolf. This changed Lou’s life around completely. She became dedicated to her brother’s safety, and along with that, Werewolf Rights and also devoted herself to her potions studies. She scores decent marks in most of her classes (with the exception of Divination… clearly, she does not have the Inner Eye) and lives a fairly normal life. When at home, she lives with her mother and little brother. Her mother also owns a very sulky Augury named Fabhal (who is a sort of family heirloom), and her brother owns a pompous owl named Hector. Lou herself owns a very fat cat named Cuchulain (but who she just calls ‘Cu’) As they live in a farmhouse, they have various critters, including chickens, geese, goats, and a couple of horses. They also carefor/rent rooms out to Magical Creatures in need of help-- the summer prior to Lou's first year in school, a moody vampire named Francesco rented the attic room above thir garage, for example. Various creatures come and go as they please. Because of this, and her brother's illness, Lou has grown up very supportive to the rights of Magical Creatures.

Personality: To most people, Louvika Hawkins might seem to be a bit ‘off’. Rather quirky with just a slice of eccentricity, Lou barely ever makes an enemy. Well, she barely ever makes one on purpose, but her natural eccentricity sometimes makes people believe she is a bit of an annoyance. She always seems very scatterbrained, sometimes forsaking her dragon skin boots (by accident) for a very mottled old pair of bunny slippers because she is concentrating too hard on studying a recipe for Potions, or not tripping and falling down the stairs. She seems to be on the surface, very naïve and silly, but a little deeper down, one could find that she actually is very motherly and understanding, and not at all naïve (she reads trashy muggle romance novels, after all!). Although she is not particularly intelligent, she is good at thinking on her feet, and tends to work better that way then planning things out, which, admittedly, has gotten her into trouble more than once. But, when her head is in the right place, so is her heart, which is probably why she’s a Gryffindor.

Physical Description: Standing at a height of about 5’3 and weighing in at just over 120 lbs, Lou is a bit small for her age. She wears her thick, curly, red-gold hair down to the middle of her back, and it is most always very messy. She has grey eyes and a very fair complexion that causes her to fear the fact that stepping out into the sun might make her as red as her own hair. With her small build and rather foxish, pointed features, her second-hand robes and messy hair, she has a very interesting sort of shambled-together, but strongly built look to her person. Like a friendly old house.

Personal History: Let's start at the beginning.

Her father, Jason Day went to Hogwarts and he was a half blood Ravenclaw. After graduating he left the Wizarding World, as Voldemort was at large. He took a job at a small book store, his parents having died in one of Voldemort's attacks, a few years earlier. He was staying at a small, rundown hotel as it was all that he could afford. And then it happened...he met his future wife, Miss Jennett Spring - a muggle. She had come to visit the book store, and he had helped her find the poetry section. They dated for a year, and then he came clean about being a Wizard. Not surprisingly, she didn't believe him until he showed her a few charms and spells. Luckily, she took it well though she was a bit shaken at first. A month later and they got married, with the attendance of only a few friends. It was all too soon when Jenett, or Jenny as he called her, became pregnant with Adam. They took to parenthood like a fish to water, and barely a year later, Jennett was pregnant with their second child, Haylyn. Jennett had complications with the birth, and after Haylyn she couldn't have anymore without severe risk to her life.

When Haylyn was three, she started showing signs of being magical. They were both very proud of her, and told themselves that Adam was just a little later than his sister. When Adam was old enough to understand, he was unhappy and jealous at first. However, his bond with his little sister was so close, that he couldn't blame her. When Adam turned eleven and his letter didn't come, they were forced to admit it - he wasn't magical. Well, more than likely he was a squib, but Adam asked them to just refer to him as a muggle. It would make things much easier on him, as his mother was a muggle as well, so they agreed.

Haylyn's mother had been sick with cancer for awhile then, and though they tried to keep the kids from seeing, they knew. When Adam was eleven, and Haylyn ten, Jennett died. It was hard on the entire family, but they lived through it, knowing that Jennett would want them to live their lives and not mourn continuously. Adam threw himself into sports, and Hadyn into her music. Jason through himself into his work (he was now owning that small book store), and moved on along with his kids - but he knew that he would never love anyone like Jennett again.

At eleven, Haylyn got her letter and she was off to Hogwarts with a tearful goodbye with her father, her brother, and her best friend Tori (who, as a muggle, was told she was going to boarding school.)

When it came time to be sorted, the hat told her she would do well in Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor. However, her Gryffindor side won.

Now, it is her sixth year. She is very happy, though she is hoping very much to find love. She has never had a boyfriend who was in complete love with her, but she terribly wants to love and be loved.

Personality: Haylyn is a very caring, loving person. She loves animals and would help others if she could (within reason, of course.) She sticks up for herself, and her friends and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She is non-judgemental, and doesn't like homophobics, sexists, and racists. She is fiercly protective of her friends and family, and very loyal to them. Haylyn is a dreamer, and she's very ambitious. Haylyn is a fairly open person, who just likes to hang out with her friends and have fun. She can fit in with both the girls and the boys, because though she is girly, she doesn't mind rolling around in the dirt with the boys.

She makes friends easily, because she is bold and definitely not one to be quiet and shy. She holds her friends close to her heart, and they are her confidantes.

She has a temper that she tries to control, because it can get her in trouble sometimes, but sometimes she just can't help it. She gets frustrated easily, and sometimes she pushes herself to hard. She hard on herself, and tries to be the best.

Physical Description: Haylyn has thick, red hair, that falls to the middle of her back and is really straight. She has blue green eyes, and people tell her that her eyes usually give away her emotions. She's not that tall, 5'5 really. She's underweight, which shocks a lot of people because she has a big sweet tooth and loves to eat. Food just goes straight through her. She's about 117 pounds. She has that slender look, with a nice body that some of the girls are jealous about.

She often dresses in bright colors, as she sees it to be fun, and not boring and drab. Her usual outfit (when not dressed in her Hogwarts robe) is probably a tight fitting, neon shirt, tight pants that can be reffered to as "emo jeans" or "skinny jeans", several skinny bangles, converse, and a locket her brother gave her when she was twelve. Her makeup would probably just be some eyeliner and lip gloss. She's not high maintenance, at all.

Personal History: Growing up, Seth was the youngest of 4 boys in the MacCarthy family - Trevor (5 years older), Ian (3 years older), Hayden(1 year older), and then Seth, the baby of the family. He never knew his mother as she died from breast cancer shortly after Seth turned three. With their father constantly off working, the boys were left to basically fend for themselves. They taught each other when they weren't in school, they fed each other, and they helped each other with anything, but most importantly they wreaked havoc together. Not having a mother to raise them and groom them, a father constantly off at work, and their extended family living in Britain (the MacCarthy's lived in Tramore, Ireland), the brothers tended to be brought home by either a neighbor or the police.

The girls in the neighborhood they lived in were afraid to play outside when the MacCarthy brothers were out there, for fear of having their dolls' heads popped off or their tea sets smashed on the ground. There wasn't a single group of kids that could defeat the MacCarthy brothers and they were the toughest, most feared group of kids in the town until the four Donnelly sisters and their father moved in nextdoor when Seth was 5. The brothers were confident that these girls wouldn't be a problem and they could easily make some pretty little servants for their new treehouse in their backyard. They were quickly proven wrong though.

The girls were anything but easy to defeat. The oldest girl was a year younger than Trevor, the second girl was a year younger than Ian, the third was the same age as Hayden, and the youngest was the same age as Seth. Each boy picked on the girl that was closest to their age and tried their hardest to ruin their lives. What goes around, comes around though. If the girls woke up with ants in their beds and snakes in their dressers, the boys would wake up with a flaming bag of dog poo at the end of their bed or on their nightstand. It was an ongoing fight between the rival sets of siblings and it still goes on today.

See, the only MacCarthy in the family to go to Hogwarts was Seth. He was expected to go to muggle school for the rest of his years like his brothers and get a good muggle education but that quickly changed when Seth received his letter for Hogwarts. Nobody had expected it or known what it meant but his brothers supported him nonetheless - he was their baby brother and so what if they lost one of their own? The only downfall to Seth going off to Hogwarts was that the same day he had gotten his letter, the youngest Donnelly sister received hers too. Seth was expected to terrorize her with magic now too, thanks to his brothers encouragement.

And Seth did just that and more. He terrorizes most of Hogwarts, setting things on fire, picking fights, and being a complete pig towards women. Now, when it comes to girls and women, Seth has a bit of a weird story behind that. Not only is he a bit angry that he couldn't meet his mother so it creates some confusion in him about how to act towards girls, but that added onto watching his brothers handle women (which is basically how he does) and the incident with Lucy's (the youngest Donnelly girl next door) Barbie doll, and you get what Seth is today.

It happened when the two of them were each 9 years old. She was playing with her Barbie dolls outside in her backyard a Sunday afternoon, and her father had called her inside to get some lunch. Seth had been watching her from the treefort as she dressed up the dolls and played 'Family,' and was fully determined to go over there and smash her doll and pop the head off when her father had called her inside. The only problem was that when she'd gone in, she hadn't finished dressing both of her dolls - one had a pair of heels on, sunglasses, and a purse in one hand and the other doll had a pair of sneakers and a cowgirl hat on. His foot raised and Seth was about to smash them but he was almost mesmerized by them. His little mind couldn't help but wonder if girls really looked like that. So Seth picked one up and started to trace over the curves and the breasts, until he had fully felt-up Barbie. Since then, he's done pretty much the same thing to almost all girls that have curves and are beautiful.

When he went off to Hogwarts, Seth was sorted into Gryffindor and now he's in his 7th year. The youngest Donnelly girl, Lucy, was also sorted into Gryffindor and since the time they got their letters, the two have done nothing but fight even more. Nobody at Hogwarts fully understands the fight or why it happens but nobody really even tried to understand Seth anymore, so the fight is a bit pointless to attempt to understand.

Personality: Seth is what one could consider a 'bad egg.' He doesn't like to listen to any type of authority and loves to make trouble. Seth's followed in the footsteps of all previous pranksters at Hogwarts and created a few tricks as well. He doesn't have many friends and the ones that he does are a very close and loyal group of friends. Most students are afraid of Seth but even though he may have a very rough exterior personality and comes off as a very mean person that has nothing better to do but be mean, he can actually be quite a charming young man.

It's likely that you'll find Seth smoking pot or gillyweed in between classes, making him often a bit loopy but he's gotten to the point where he has some control over himself while on a high. He also likes to drink a bit but that's something that he only does at parties or on the weekends sometimes.

Seth's a hands-on kind of guy. He enjoys groping girls and snogging in the broom cupboards. Sexual innuendos are most likely to pop up in a conversation with him and he's very open about all sexuality. It's very rare for Seth to have just one girlfriend - either he has many, or is a free-bird.

In his small inner-circle of friends, Seth is very loyal to them as though they were his siblings. He's an average student in his classes and the only thing that's really holding him back from being an incredibly smart kid is the gillyweed and Mary-Jane. Seth has a photographic memory and can often remember things to a T that others would normally forget.

When it comes to picking on the younger years, Seth isn't one that goes out just to relieve some anger on one of the poor things. Unless they're being stupid and 'bring it on themselves' or they piss him off some way, he won't bother with them. As a matter of fact, most of the time he only picks fights with people who anger him an incredible amount. If he sees someone picking on a younger year, he's most likely the one that saves the younger year and then when they go to thank him, scares them away. He has to keep up appearances, after all.

Physical Description: Seth has curly brown hair and dark green eyes that are almost brown. He stands at an imposing 6' 6" and weighs anywhere between 180 and 200lbs. Seth is neither muscle-man, nor a 'shrimp.' He has enough muscle mass to throw a relatively good punch and take one too. Seth can grow facial hair but he finds it stupid and ugly, so he prefers to shave.

Personal History: An only child, Alexis grew up in a happy family setting with her Mother, Anna (a Muggle), and her Father, Brennan (a Wizard). Having a nice mix between a magic life and a muggle one, she started to exhibit some magical ability at a young age, although not realizing it at the time. Right at age 11, she received her Hogwarts letter and has been attending ever since. Her father, also a Gryffindor from Hogwarts, worked at the Ministry of Magic. Alexis was never told nor did her parents speak much about the details of his job, that it was simply "Important adult work". Anna stayed at home as a happy housewife, taking care of the daily needs. The family was always very close, and Alexis' parents meant the world to her.

While growing up, she was quite social and constantly had lots of friends; however, that all changed while she was still in her first year at Hogwarts. Right before Christmas break, Alexis was owled with the letter that would forever affect her life - her father had died. In complete shock and disbelief, she traveled home to find out what had happened. Her Mother told Alexis that her father had been involved in an accident at work. This wasn't good enough for her, and began the long process of denial. Her father wasn't supposed to leave her, not now, not ever. After that, Alexis' personality changed to a quiet and secluded individual. The things that used to make her happy didn't anymore. After returning to school over the holidays, she was lucky enough to meet Cassedey Aveada, a Ravenclaw who was of the same age. Alexis was in deep grief and instantly found a friendship with Cassedey. She became the outlet for Alexis, someone to confide in and trust. Ever since their first year, the two girls have become best friends.

Personality:
At first glance, Lexi may appear to be a quite shy little book-nerd; but if you take the time to get to know her, you'll see that she has lots of layers underneath. Extremely loyal and compassionate, once Alexis makes a friend, she'd do anything for them. She can have a hard time opening up at first, however once she trusts the person, she will completely let her true self known. She is shy by nature and prone to severe blushing attacks and times of tripping over her own words, but this eases in time (but not entirely, unfortunately, she can't ever escape it altogether!).

That being said, if you hurt or betray her, you will most likely never be forgiven. Although mostly keeping to herself, Alexis is very passionate about her own views and beliefs. She is an articulate and creative person, loving to get lost in a good book or write poetry in her closely guarded journal. Sensitive and a total romantic, Lexi has always entertained her imagination with the idea that everyone can have the chance to find their "Prince Charming". She also has a slight rebellious streak to her, and doesn't mind bending a few rules now and again, though it doesn't happen all that often. It usually takes an extremely serious situation to push her far enough away from her usual restrictions.

Personal History: Born in the heat of one very hot August, Bacchus did much of nothing but eat, cry and poop his way into the hearts of the massive Hawkins' family. He and his mother, Mrs. Morrigan Donovan, spent most of their time in Bach's formitive years with his mother's family-- seeing how his father had been killed just after Bacchus was born.

The circumstances surrounding Emry Donovan's death are strange, as is only natural. He was an Auror, it was long after the first war had ended, but he'd made quite a lot of enemies. Bewildered Muggles found his body in the wee hours of the morning on August 23rd, 1989, spread eagle aross the pavement in front of Denny's Drive-Thru Liquor. Bacchus doesn't remember it, of course. But his mother still sobs everytime they pass a liquor store.

The lack of a father was no reason for Bacchus to grow up miserable-- not when he had hundreds of other family members keeping him company. He and Morrigan lived for some time in a small apartment in Dublin. She commuted to the Ministry of Magic in London each and every day, leaving him not in the hands of a daycare but with his various aunts-- Aunt Eurydice, who had seven children and never seemed to mind taking on her little 'God of Wines', or his Aunt Kittias, who lived in the country with her lover and their daughter, and acres of land to play on.

From the time when Bacchus was six to when he was 10, he and his mother lived with Kittias and her two children-- her partner, Wallace Jeaurox, had left the family not long after the birth of Malachy. Since both Morrigan and her sister were now single and struggling to raise their young ones, they figured why not do it together?

When the time was right, Bacchus attended Muggle primary school in the near by town, followed the next year by the precocious Louvika, and before he knew it, he was at Hogwarts. The hat had only had a moment to make itself comfortable over his eyes when he was promptly sorted into Gryffindor. Morrigan moved out of Kittias' country house then, in order to move to Dublin. Much to Bacchus' chargrin, she started dating.

Bacchus has never been a stellar student. While he obtained a spot on Reserves for the Gryffindor Quidditch team in his third year and eventually went on to be a permenent member by his fourth year, in the first few years, he was frequently removed from practices because of grades. This caused him quite a lot of frustration and annoyance during these years, so he struggled to maintain his grades a little better.

Personality: Leo Gryffindor: This is a natural sign for Gryffindors, not least because the griffin is part lion. Gryffindors born under this sign are outgoing, friendly, affectionate, and likeable. They make friends easily and are crushed when their advances are rejected. Their romantic, chivalrous nature makes them perfect examples of all that is best in their House. However, they are also bossy, domineering, spendthrift, and overly dramatic (ever heard the phrase "drama queen?") They have sharp tempers and need to learn to direct their anger toward only needful causes. The natural creativity and flamboyance of Leo makes Gryffindors born under this sign good at most everything they attempt, provided they apply themselves to learning magic rather than using magic to hog the limelight.

Bacchus is a knight. Or, anyway, he often wishes he was. Can't you just see him seated on the back of a massive quarterhourse, armed to the teeth, with a big ol' lion on his chest? Quixotic to the core, Bacchus is your perfect Gryffindor-- sometimes a little stupid, sometimes a little vain, but always brave, loyal, and chivilrous. At times, Bacchus will go out of his way to, say, flex his biceps in front of some admiring first year by carrying her books to her next class. Not that he hopes to get anything from the first year, apart from the admiration and perhaps the fact that she might spread word of his chivilry to her friends. It's all about his ego, really. He likes girls swaying and fluttering their eyelashes at him, even if it isn't exactly the way he swings.

But Bacchus can get jealous very quickly. Being an only child for a long time has lead him to not be 'into' sharing with other. Of course, this constantly conflicts with his chivilrous nature, and while he doesn't mind sharing things like school books or quills, he can quite constantly get jealous if a friend of his is talking to someone else, or a love interest is even so much as looking at another. He is dominant by nature and will take any threat to his dominance as a challenge-- generally, physical, seeing as he isn't always much for mental challenges.

Despite his bright and manly nature, Bacchus can occasionally be very sensitive about things. If his chivilry is rejected or his advances are averted, he does tend to get a very sad, puppy-eyed look on his face. Such things can ruin not only just his day but his entire week. Of course, he doesn't get angry about them, he just gets this sort of, "...whhy?" look and feeling about him. Pretty pathetic, really.

Physical Description: With a smooth but beautiful Celtic face, delectable blonde curls and the signature grey eyes of the Hawkins family, Bacchus Donovan routinely breaks the hearts of many a young lady. His height of 6'1 and weight of 200 lbs make him a force to be reckoned with for any of the boyfriends of those potential suitors, too. Obsessed with working out, Bach's Quidditch muscles make up the bulk of his weight and he frequently likes to strut about the Common Room, sans shirt, just to prove it. Bit vain, this one. He has a very pale complexion, like any good Irish boy, but unlike some, he can actually get a nice sun-kissed glow going once he's been out on the pitch long enough.

Personal History: Originally from Mumbai, Mr. and Mrs. Sen immigrated to England early on in their marriage so that the Mister could pursue a career as an attorney. The first few years were hard, but luckily for Vanadevi, she hadn't been born yet.

Vanadevi was conceived via in vitro fertilization quite a while later. Although her parents had been blessed over the course of their lives with three healthy sons and prosperity, Mr. Sen having worked his way up the ranks of his firm and eventually making partner, both found something lacking. At forty-three and forty-five, the two decided that what was missing was a daughter.

What seemed like an eternity of taking fertility medications and thousands of visits to the clinic paid off when Vanadevi was born. She was given the very best throughout her childhood, sent to the most prestigious schools money could buy and taught by the finest language and music tutors available. With her closest sibling in age being eighteen at her birth and already out of the house, Vanadevi was pretty much raised as an only child. She was the apple of her parents' eye, their little princess.

Although she had a penchant for numbers she was never an overall spectacular student, but her parents still had high hopes that she might become something practical like a doctor or a lawyer, despite Vanadevi's assertions that she was going to become an actress.

Any of these possible professions may have become a reality if not for a Hogwarts representative showing up the morning of Vanadevi's eleventh birthday, Hogwarts acceptance letter in hand. Needless to say, her parents hadn't taken kindly to a stranger showing up at their front door, telling them that their daughter was a witch. But after they had thrown the man out, they began to consider what he had said.

He, of course, had asked if Vanadevi had ever done anything strange or unexplainable, and several incidents stuck out in their minds, each involving her seemingly changing the temperature of things to suit herself. Food, drinks, even the room temperature.

When the liaison showed up again the next day, Mr. and Mrs. Sen were much more welcoming then they had been the day before. Proof that magic existed and a lot of convincing resulted in them agreeing to let her attend Hogwarts as long as she continued her normal education during the summer.

Vanadevi was amazed by the whole situation, as any Muggleborn would be. It has taken some adapting for her to get used to the wizarding world, but she's getting there.

Personality: Before Hogwarts, Vanadevi was a petulant little brat. She was rarely disciplined, and almost always got her way. Her entire environment was accommodating and protective, completely shielding her from the outside world. She was told she was special, smart, and gifted. She grew up thinking very highly of herself.

Thankfully, her six years at Hogwarts have changed her. Greeted by professors like Severus Snape who refused to stroke her ego or hold her hand through assignments, Vanadevi came to the realization that she wasn't particularly special, smart, or gifted. She found that her status as a rich girl held little merit with Hogwarts and its students, many of whom could hardly appreciate huge flat screen TVs or overpriced Muggle designer clothing. Her prosperity became infinitesimal up against some of the students, who not only had wealth but all of the amazing things associated with magic as well.

The first few years at Hogwarts were rather miserable for her. She not only had to cope with a totally new way of living, but she also had to come to terms with having everything she had previously valued herself by becoming insignificant. She considered leaving on more then one occasion and returning to her Muggle life in London, but her stubborn nature refused to let her quit and go home.

Although much more down to Earth then her younger self had been, traces of her upbringing have remained with Vanadevi. She hates it when things don't go her way and when she's forced into doing something. Her emotions are rather uncontrolled, although she's trying to work on that. She's usually very happy, but if she gets angry it's generally a good idea to vacate the premises. A true spitfire, if provoked she will lash out with little thought as to what kind of detention it may result it.

She's very loyal, very protective of the people she loves. She'll seek blood if someone has hurt her friends in any way. She's also incredibly flirtatious, often engaging in the activity at inappropriate times with inappropriate targets. She's rather devious, perfectly willing to break rules to have a bit of fun. She has a great sense of humor, but it can be pretty dark and dirty.

Vanadevi's eyes itched to look up from the page. The ink was fading, and in several places there were stains in the shape of glass bottoms and splattered spaghetti sauce. Obviously, the poor thing was used quite frequently by irresponsible students. But her pity for it couldn't make up for the fact that Astronomy: What's What in the Midnight Sky, Vol. 1 just wasn't nearly as interesting as the sixth year boy sitting across the library from her. And so, she allowed herself to be distracted.

He wasn't in uniform, but she was pretty sure he was a Ravenclaw. What was his name again? Her mind strained to come up with an answer, but to no avail. She watched intently as he ran his hand through his shaggy blonde hair, apparently frustrated with his task of studying.

He must have felt her eyes on him, since she wasn't able to watch him unnoticed for long. His gaze scanned the room and fell upon her, finding the culprit responsible for inflicting that I'm being watched feeling. She waggled her eyebrows. He grinned.

God, she was never going to get any studying done.

Likes - at least 15: Movies (especially Bollywood films), music, playing her cello, guys, girls, makeup, nail polish, dogs, tea, romantic events like the Yule Ball, Quidditch (although it's more for the views afforded rather then the game itself), socializing, flirting, revenge, shopping, getting wet, watching TV.
Dislikes - at least 15: Being belittled, being insulted, high and mighty Purebloods, hot weather, red meat, having to study a subject she doesn't particularly like, bugs, getting dirty, cheaply made products, rules, regulations, limitations, Snape and all things associated with him, mornings, cats.
