Application Post - VI
Please comment with your application here! If your application will not fit in one comment, please break it up and label it in parts in the subject line. Please note that if you are applying for a student character, you should use the first application. If you are applying for a Professor, Auror, or other adult character, you should use the second application. Thank you!
General Information
We will be attempting to keep a good ratio of Pureblood/Halfblood/Muggleborn characters. To see available years/Houses/positions/bloodlines, go here! Right now, we'd prefer to keep the Pureblood ratio lesser than the others. Keep this in mind, as we could very well reject your character because of these ratios.
Also, in keeping with our anti-Mary-Sue policies, no outrageous hair or eye colors will be allowed. Remember, your height and weight should be proportionate if your character is not considered to be heavyset or incredibly thin. For a healthy, average height-weight ratio, check HERE! If you do not currently have the points for another character and wish to reserve a Body Model, list it here. Holds last for one month; we will allow you to hold only one Body Model at a time (per UK and the main community -- two total), and it is first-come, first-serve.
Please note that special abilities (Animagus, Arithmancer, Legilimens, Metamorphmagus, Occlumens, Parselmouth, Seer) are extremely rare and must be Mod-approved. If you wish to even attempt having one of these skills, it must be explained and believable; for example, a fifth-year Muggleborn would be highly unlikely to have developed Legilimens skills. Regarding Hobbies/Talents and Weaknesses -- Dance, art, reading, writing... These are all hobbies or talents. Ambitious, sneaky, hard-working... These are all personality traits. :) We'll try to help you distinguish if you throw them in the wrong category! Furthermore, weaknesses are negative traits or things that your character is not good at. Flying, for example, could be a weakness. Potions cannot -- it will be listed under worst subjects. Allergies, being a know-it-all -- these also fall under the personality section.
