Occupation: He is the cashier and manager of Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop in Hogsmeade. Isaac sells quills to anyone who needs them (mainly students), and takes care of the inventory as well as keeping the place nice and tidy.

Personal History: Isaac is very devoted to his family for one main reason, which is that he is the father figure to his younger siblings. When he was six-years-old, he first noticed things happened around him when he was in a high state of emotion, and short after that, his father left his mother and his younger siblings for a fellow American woman whom Isaac had never met. He blaimed himself for his father leaving because he seemed the only one in his family with these extraordinary capabilities, even his twin sister, whom was younger because she was born several minutes after him, never had experiences like his. As he grew up, he helped his mother, who remained single and kept a steady job to provide for her children, helped care for his sister and two younger brothers. At age 11, he recieved his Hogwarts letter, which was a difficulty to the house because he was the oldest and the role model of the home. He almost would have not gone to Hogwarts because of his family but his sister told him to go because she knew he was special and knew he would come back, unlike their father, also saying that she could help take care of the household with their mother and by then their aunt had moved in to help. They promised each other they would write once a week to each other, a promise that Isaac keeps to this day as he attends Hogwarts. Although Isaac attends Hogwarts, he had no intention of going into a magical career afterwords. No, his biggest ambition was always to become a photographer, and take still pictures of the most beautiful things to be shown to the world for all eyes to see. Until he would be able to secure his dream, he would still do whatever he could to support his family, the thing that means the most to him.

Isaac has learned that photography and being an artist isn’t exactly as fun as he thought it would be, plus he misses the Wizarding World. So he quit his job at the gallery and found a place to live, still near his family, but now he works at Hogsmeade.

Personality: The typical dreamer. Isaac is usually off in his own word rather than studying for the final exams, until the night before, of course, then goes into a huge cramming session, which then leads to his downfall in classes. He is a good student, however, if on the rare occasion he is paying attention but he would definitely like to spend his time outside with others, and joking around. Isaac is friendly and encouraging to his other housemates, and friends. He is very close and loyal to those that he cares for. He adores laughter so there for he tries to make people laugh a lot, but not be a class clown. Able to handle his emotions very well, even through painful moments, and Isaac is often the shoulder one could come to cry on, also because he is so compassionate and caring, especially among friends. He loves to hear stories of fantasy even with romance, and could get lost in them for hours with no end unless he was pulled away somehow from it, definitely voracious in that way. A romantic himself, wanting to do things special for the one he loves, and always trying to be the pleaser around them. He has a way of seeing things that aren't ment to be seem in that way, specificly.

Occupation: Lucern is an Obliviator for the Ministry of Magic. Although the job title sounds rather lethal, it surely is not. An Obliviator wipes the mind of people (mainly Muggles) that have witnessed events that are meant to be kept secret, or perhaps threatening to the wizarding way of life. Depending on where the witness may live within the United Kingdom, he would have to travel a great deal but nowhere leaving the isles.

Personal History: Lucern MacAlister started as a spoiled child. It came with the territory of being the only child of a wealthy family. They would give him everything he asked for, even when he was not old enough to speak. At the age of two, the attention dropped somewhat when his younger brother, Bastien, was brought into the world. After that, Lucern was less and less spoiled as the attention to both boys became equally divided. Lucern, at first, loathed his younger brother and always picked on him but then he grew to love him once he got used to him. They became very close. The two of them would wrestle around, as all brothers do, but Lucern knew when to settle down once it came to his studies. When Etienne was born, Lucern had grown up to be about the age of five. More or less, he clung closer to Bastien but he still loved his youngest brother immensely, and always tried to take care of him when could while he was still an infant. Once Etienne grew up though, he got the same treatment as Bastien. However, everything changed a year after the last boy of the family was born, and they were given a sister, Lissianna. They were told by their parents to be careful with Lissianna and to look out for her, and Lucern took that very seriously, which he still does.

By the age of 11, Lucern had practically grown into the man he would become later in life. He was refined and classified by his wealth. The boy was serious about his learning and had dreams about his future that he would do anything for them to turn out the way he planned. Naturally, he was placed in Slytherin. He did well in his first two years of school, which he was joined later by Bastien, then he had more fun. His favorite classes were apparent to him by then: Charms, Potions, Arithmancy, Ancient Runes and History of Magic. He had made his friends and whatnot but he still pretty much kept to his studies, unless he grew tired of them and needed a break. The rest of his career at Hogwarts when rather smoothly academic-wise, at least, and was finally surrounded by his siblings when he had reached 7th year. He was sad that he had to leave them at school but knew it would not be for long.

At 19, Lucern set out to be a Death Eater, one of the Dark Lord’s followers. The MacAlister parents always told their children about how serving him would be most honorable and Lucern’s impression of him grew as he learned of what Lord Voldemort’s cause was while he stayed at Slytherin house. He was proud to say that he was admitted and that he served him most loyally. As to prove his loyalty, a year later, now 20, he entered work at the Ministry as a spy, and became an Obliviator with his honed knowledge of memory charms. He was rather fond of his work at the Ministry because it allowed him to wipe memories of Muggles that had witnessed displays of magic, rather than actually being able to kill them, though he would not have minded that either.

Lucern’s life then was now what has led him to what he still does now.

Personality: Loyalty is the one thing that should shine out up above the rest when someone would think of Lucern. He is most loyal to family above all, and is very protective of them, especially his little sister, Lissianna. After that, his loyalty lies with the Dark Lord. Lucern knows his place as a Pureblood and would do anything to maintain that status, except to maybe hurt any member of his family, that would be including outside relatives as well, which might prove as a weakness as a Death Eater but he is absolutely sure that no member of his family would probably compromise that. It is this reason, other than preferring to not get his hands dirty too much, that he stays low rank among the Death Eaters, despite his intelligible contribution to their cause. Finally, after family and Voldemort, his friends, those who he has deemed worthy of his company and those that lie in the elitist inner circle. Even though they are last on the chain, they still all receive the same undying loyalty as the others do.

When there is a task that he needs to complete, Lucern does it wholeheartedly and will push his limits until he is near killing himself to get it done. Once it is finished, however, he begins to get paranoid about it, and assumes the worst. He is very much a pessimist, he would be sad to admit. Not just about work either, about life in general, but it is mainly when it involves a plot that he has come up with for the Dark Lord. He is fortunate enough though to be most successful with his plans, most of the time. Ambition is also one of his strong suits. He looks to out best almost everyone at everything, or strive for exactly what he wants, no matter the consequences.

In addition to getting the job done, he is a very serious person and a bit bossy. When at home with his siblings, he can be a bit pushy and manipulative, only because he is eldest and believes that they have to listen to everything he says. He does indeed though have a good sense of humor, and can be rather playful at times, but the only people that would be ever allowed to see that side of him would be his family and a select group of friends. In other words, he knows there are times to be serious and others to be merry. Very rarely does he smile, unless he’s around family. Lucern would never bring his work home with him, and if anyone would try to bring it up, he would change the subject or end up lecturing who had asked him about it. He loves both his work and his family, and prefers to keep them separate. Also Lucern knows how to control his emotions very well on assignment, which comes handy when needing to find out information.

Other than his blood, his family and his work ethics, Lucern prides himself on wealth. To live in a world without financial surplus frightens him. He is very materialistic but doesn’t rub his personal wealth in the face of others, although he does spend a lot of money to comfort himself and his kin. Ignorance about economics is not an option for him. He knows when to back off making purchases when he starts losing money, as to never see himself in the gutters. Lucern believes he deserves the best of everything and wants the money to buy all of it when he wants it. Besides that part of being elitist, he possesses all of the qualities needed to survive in the upper class world taught to him by his parents, of course.

Physical Description: Lucern has long, flowing black hair but only enough to cover his head. His eyes are almost teal shaded blue because they are so lightly colored. He stands about 6’2” tall and weighs in about 168 lbs. Lucern could certainly hold his own in a fist fight, if something ever came down to that situation. He keeps himself in great physical shape.

Personal History: The Winters' come from a long line of noble and established Purebloods. They are known for being 'elitists', of sorts, wealthy with history in the dark arts. Though with Adriana's parents, much to her annoyance, this is slightly different. They were both from Gryffindor House, an oddity as her Uncle's and Aunt's are all from Slytherin. Joseph and Isabeli are Pro-Voldemort elitists, without a doubt, but they are not death eaters nor do they dabble too much in anything risky or outgoing in the cause. Their way of contributing is simply with money and lavish parties.

The important thing to state with Adriana is that she is, in no way, family-oriented. Despite a knack for flirting with cute boys, she had nothing in common with her Mother, and rarely agrees with anything her father thinks are proper for her life. Marrying some old Pureblooded bloke and sitting at home silently for the rest of her life is never something Adriana will agree with, and will continue to rebel against that lifestyle.

When it comes to Tatiana, her younger sister, things are not much better. In Adriana's eyes, the girl is as useless as some china doll perched on a shelf, and is astounded at being remotely related to her. Constantly annoyed with how dull and unintelligent she is, Adriana takes every opportunity to stay far away from her now that she's out of Hogwarts, only having no choice but to deal with her during family dinners and vacations. Furthermore, before she even began at Hogwarts, Adriana constantly felt the need to out-do anything Tatiana did; she was insanely jealous of the younger girl getting any of the attention from her Mother and Father. All of that stems into how envious she can become nowadays, and she is still very openly competitive with Tatiana. Neither get along, and that's public knowledge. She hates her, to put it kindly.

Adriana was brought up to believe that she is superior to everyone (especially muggleborns), and that money and status is above all else. This is all very apparent in her arrogant nature, and she knows her opinion on the matter. In the end, blood relation is of little consequence to Adriana; she picked her path as a Death Eater and regardless of how strongly her parents disagree with the decision, she'll still do it. She knows what she wants, and no one will block her from getting it.

Personality: At her best, she is charming, resourceful, intuitive, and loyal. And at her worst, she is envious, spiteful, vain and stubborn. Adriana has many sides to her, and not many people ever experience all of them. Get on her good side, and Adriana is a very powerful and reliable ally. However, tick her off and she'll make sure you're terribly sorry that you ever crossed her. A temper is something Adriana definitely has, and over the years has developed into a bit of a violent streak. Magic is fantastic and she uses her wand often, but it's also not uncommon for her to use her fist to get her point across.

The often mistaken notion about Adriana is how intelligent she actually is. Not that she minds, though; she's honed her many acting skills in order to hide her true emotions, and sometimes that is playing dumb. This is where her uncanny skill for manipulation comes in handy. She has no problem lying through her teeth, and can talk anyone into believing just about anything. So, in truth, Adriana is quite intelligent and can excel at almost anything -- if she wants to put her mind to it. When she does commit to something, she's fiercely dedicated and relentless until it gets done. Not getting what she's after simply isn't an option.

Physical Description: Not that tall, Adriana makes up for it in presence. Growing up in a high lifestyle, she isn't one to ever slouch and always stands with grace and pride. Her hair is blonde, flowing below her shoulders, and her eyes are a deep blue. Adriana is naturally attractive and has, to put it bluntly, sex appeal. Confident with how she looks, she knows how to show off her curves and best assets. He fixes curses wherever it's needed and for now works at a business that mostly keeps him around the London area. Though he does get a few assignments elsewhere.

Personal History:
Etienne grew up in your normal wealthy pureblood environment. As a child he was tutored by his parents, just as his siblings were. He learned everything a young pureblood should know, not only school wise but socially and politically as well. Everything from how to act, who to talk to, and what knowledge he would need to succeed in life were all imposed at an early age.

His older brothers Lucern and Bastien played sports with him and sometimes let their little sister Lissianna join in. While his brothers were more older brother protective of her, Etienne learned to just keep a watchful eye on her. She could do what she wanted as long as it was in line with what was appropriate for pureblooded children.

At an early age his father started to play chess with him, just as their own father-son bonding time. His father never went 'easy' on him and so when Etienne started to get better and beat his father once in a while, it was because he was better.

He was very sheltered as a kid, and therefore never met anyone that wasn't a Pureblood until he went to Hogwarts. Therefore he doesn't really understand that people aren't as rich or have the same beliefs as him. In his mind there are three kinds of people, and that is based solely on blood. He never learned to discriminate between blood traitors and acceptable people, because he was never really faced with that problem as a child.

Nothing was odd about his childhood, between playing Quidditch with his pureblood friends and brothers to going to various balls and functions. He wasn't necessarily the most talkative there, he learned that as long as you kept your answers short then people would know just what they wanted to here. Also you wouldn't accidentally tell them something that you didn't want them to know. With the gossip that went on it was imperative to keep the amount they could talk about you at a minimum, and he rarely actually disappeared with someone as he became older and more into girls. All it became was just some harmless flirting.

Once he received his Hogwarts letter, he was sorted into Slytherin and confronted with other people who weren't like him and he learned to catagorize people. It didn't matter if you were a blood traitor or not, as long as they were pure he at least tolerated them. In his mind they were just in a stage and it would pass soon enough.

Personality:
Etienne doesn’t care for the gray areas in life, instead viewing everything as black or white. A subject that he’s not good in isn’t worth the effort of trying to improve. It will always be a weakness of his and he just drops it all together, showing up for classes just to show up and barely doing the work. In the subjects that he does do well in and enjoys he will apply himself and make sure that he is the best in that class. If you are good at a subject you should be the best, just like in a career. No one would stop at being a just a mail clerk.

He's a man of few words, but when he does speak it’s in a very calm and controlled voice. It’s not monotone but stays at pretty much the same volume unless he’s playing Quidditch. He rarely ever gets insane, raving, yelling mad. Even if you are annoying him to all ends of the earth and back, the most you will get is a cool glare and some icy words. In his mind keeping a calm and rational exterior at all times is the most effective and efficient way to get what you want.

When he first meets people he doesn't talk much, instead just studying them and deciding whether they are worthy enough for him. He believes in first appearances and only first appearances. If something happens to tarnish the reputation of someone he believes is worthy, he will ignore it. Along with that if he thinks your unworthy and you prove that you are? He will still rarely give you the time of day. It's a matter of principle and he can be extremely stubborn and conveniently have 'selective hearing' when it's required.

Relaxing isn't something he's very good at. His idea of relaxing is systematically defeating an opponent at chess or some other logic type game. He needs to have his brain working on something, otherwise he can get irritable. That is not a good thing, because when someone crosses his path when he's in one of his moods it can get ugly. The kind where you don't exactly know what you are...but it's something complicated and involves Transfiguration.

He can be fun and actually laugh, but it's mostly just around his family and close friends. He does enjoy the occasional prank and joke, just at the expense of someone else. Whether it's a friend or a stranger it doesn't matter. It didn't happen to him, and if it's humorous he'll laugh or make fun of them.

Etienne can be insanely possessive/protective. When it comes to his things he has a strict no touching policy. All he asks is that you ask before you take or touch something of his, or even better just let him move it. It's not that he doesn't trust others...no, wait that's exactly it. He doesn't trust others to take as good of care of his things as he does. He would rather be safe than sorry.

Physical Description: He has short light brown hair and blue eyes. He keeps himself active and has an athletic body because of it. His appearance is always polished and professional so that he can make the best first impression that he possibly can. He's fairly tall at 6'1" and doesn't hide it behind bad posture.

Personal History:
Elizabeth was born as the youngest child of 5 just a few miles away from London. As a child she was always emersed in some kind of activity, mostly trying to keep up with her older brothers, two of whom were twins. Since the oldest was her sister, she never really got along with her since her sister opted to treat her as a child more often than not. Plus when Elizabeth came in muddy from playing outside with her brothers, more often her mother and sister would sigh before going back to knitting or reading romance novels or painting their nails. Because of that small fact she became her father’s little angel totally and completely actually starting to act like him more and more.

Her father and brothers were the ones that got her into sports and at a young age she learned various muggle sports, her favorites being rugby and football. But while she may not of been able to play them all of the time, whenever there was a game she was one of the ones with their face painted and screaming with excitement as their team went onto victory. If she had even been an ounce more girly and flexible she might have considered cheerleading, but unfortunately that was a sissy sport to her and never understood it.

At age 11 she received her Hogwarts letter which completely took their family by a surprise, though apparently on her mother’s side there was some witch way way back there. But as soon as they went to Diagon Alley she became obsessed with learning about it and meeting all of the different people. And it proved no different at school, for she was placed into the Ravenclaw house and quickly became an avid Quidditch fan. Within a year she had memorized the statistics of all the stars and was trying to round up some people to go to games during the holidays whenever she could.

As for her studies, she excelled in Herbology, Charms and History of Magic but lacked the patience for DADA, Divination, Arithmancy or Potions. Most of her time spent studying was with a group of friends that was mainly for socializing, because she was a very social girl.

After she graduated from Hogwarts, she went to St. Mungo’s and started training to become a Healer. While the work interested her immensely, she didn’t have the drive and didn’t necessarily like the aspect of giving someone bad news, so instead when a position became available as the Welcome Witch she jumped on it.

Elizabeth is an extremely social girl, loving to chat with just about anyone and friendly to everyone she meets. While there are those elitists, she knows better than to try and deal with them, instead just acting pleasant and letting them go on their way. Besides that she loves sports and is a very athletic girl, more tomboyish except for the fact that she loves being a woman. Anything that she is passionate about she goes at with everything she has, including her studies. Herbology is probably what interests her the most, not the practical part because of the patience required, but the different plants and what they can do.

Patience though is definitely something that she does not have, especially when it comes to her studies. If there’s something social, she’ll probably throw her studies out the window (if they’re boring enough) and go off to whatever there is. But all different cultures interest her, and if someone new comes around that’s different and unique, she’ll quickly try to befriend them so that she can learn everything there is to know.

Personal History: As most Purebloods are born and raised like princes and princesses, Penelope was treated the same. The only difference is that she never could find it in herself to subject herself to the pureblood life like her 3 brothers and 2 sisters could.

Penny is the oldest child and daughter of Arthur and Erin. They had each child with 2 years in between each after the other except for after Keegan they waited 3 years, and they had Alastar (5th year Hufflepuff), Biddy (3rd year Gryffindor), Keegan (1st year Ravenclaw), Kieran (8 years old), and Norah (6 years old). All of the children were raised as purebloods but were not raised as followers of Voldemort. The only real pureblood characteristic that they all have is how proper they are. Arthur and Erin inherited hoards of money after both of their parents died (around when Penny and Alastar were born), and figured that since they wanted to fit in with the rest of the pureblooded families, that their children were going to grow up to lead extravagant lives and a life filled with lavish things that were completely unneccasary.

While Penny's younger brothers and sisters bought into what their parents gave them, she just couldn't bring herself to give in that easily. Obviously she liked what they were giving her and wouldn't ever say no to her mother or father, for fear of being beaten because they were strict parents.

As far as sibling rivalry and how well they all get along, Penny gets along best with all her brothers and sisters perfectly well. If there was going to be fight between any of the siblings though, it would be between Penny and Alastar since she's the oldest daughter, yet he's the oldest son. They often fight over who's favored more between their parents. Penny gets along best with her two younger sisters though, because she grew up with them and is close to them.

Arthur and Erin only wanted the best for their children. They paid for them to go to schools around the world when they were children just so that they had manners, and partly so that they didn't have to deal with them. All 6 children went/go to boarding school until they each got/get their letter to Hogwarts. They learned proper manners at these boarding schools and recieved top-notch education. Penny never could take an interest in become a proper lady though, and would have rather goofed off than remember which utensil to use first.

Upon going to Hogwarts and going through all 6 years so far, Penny was fine. Her grades were perfectly acceptable and were always passing, she played quidditch for Gryffindor team, and got along with basically everyone while never letting their blood status or house get in the way. At the start of her seventh year though, her life changed drastically. After spending the whole summer with a muggle boy, Daniel, and falling in love with him, when she returned to school the typical symptoms started. The symptoms of pregnancy, that is. Penny told Daniel as soon as she found out, to which he (quite literally) had a breakdown. He didn't know what to do, with Penny and the child at Hogwarts, just finding out that she's a witch (because she found it imperative to tell him along with the pregnancy), and knowing that he wouldn't even be able to see her until the end of June - which, by then, the child would be born and Penny'd have graduated.

When Penelope told her parents they were somewhat disgusted that this had happened, but they weren't about to remove her from the family tree. She agreed with her mother and father that the child would be born at Hogwarts and stay with Penny until the end of term (which would be all of but weeks after the child is born). Until her due date (June 2nd), Penny isn't allowed to do many things like: climbing (trees, etc.), quidditch (unless accompanied by another on the broom), and anything else that might harm the her (causing her to harm the baby) or anything that could directly harm the baby.

Now that Penny is out of Hogwarts and Treasa was safely delivered (in the middle of the night, mind you), Penny works full time at Quality Quidditch Supplies and lives with Thatcher Hale. Daniel is completely out of the picture as well after a nasty fight that Penny got in with him (leaving Daniel and his two bimbos with their knees reversed and mouths and.... 'lips' glued shut). She's currently just trying to save up her money and get on her own two feet so that she doesn't have to 'mooch' off of Thatcher anymore.
Personality:
Ever since her pregnancy, Penny's definately not the same person that she was before. Pre-pregnancy she used to be a wild, untamable, party hard, loose-lips, crazy child. Now that Treasa is born though Penny isn't half of that. She's actually unknowingly conformed to what her parents had always wanted her to be when growing up: a proper young lady that has at least an ounce of self-respect.

It isn't likely that you'll see Penny drinking, swearing, doing drugs/smoking, dating, or really doing anything fun. She's had to grow up quite a bit and now that the real world is confronting her, she doesn't find it easy at all. The rough exterior that once was Penny is now a soft-hearted, motherly young lady. A rarity it is to see Penny angry (unless Daniel is mentioned).

Even though Penny can typically tell when enough is enough, if she's on one of her rambling rampages she loses that whole concept. Penelope enjoys a good joke, and loves to laugh but then again who doesn't? She won't be afraid to speak her mind to you, and if Penny thinks that something you're doing is wrong she'll most definately tell you (for example, she doesn't like what Voldie is doing so she voices her opinion to others).
Penelope's found it essential that she become more serious if she's to be a great mother and responsible for another's life. She's become a bit moody though. If she's happy about something, she lights up the whole room; if she's mad about something, everyone knows it; if Penny's sad, you'll likely see a puddle of tears around her.

Personal History: Bastien Alexander MacAlister was born to Jean Claude and Margureite MacAlister on April 8th, 1986. Everything was perfect with the MacAlister's second child being born, except for when he arrived. Bastien was a beautiful, healthy baby boy except for that ... his hair and eye color kept changing - blood red to cotton candy blue to Slytherin green, etc. It wasn't anything they'd been expecting since neither of them were metamorphagus' and they didn't know anyone in their families that were one either. It wasn't until they brought baby Bastien to see Jean Claude's parents that they looked through the family tree and found the source of this occurence - it was all thanks to Jean Claude's great great grandmother, Axelle Marie. Bastien's parents were rather pleased to have a son that had an 'ability' at such a young age for they knew that he had magical abilities from the get-go and wasn't going to be an embarassment to the MacAlister family via squib.

Although Bastien's parents may have been pleased with his arrival and magical ability, there was someone who wasn't: his 2 year old older brother, Lucern. The young boy was quite upset that he had to share his time with this new ...screw-up and he wasn't happy that Bastien was being doted upon more than he was either! Lucern wanted attention too but that seemed impossible with a new baby in the house, especially one that could change what he looked like! It wasn't until the boys grew a bit older that they started to get equal attention and become closer. Bastien and Lucern actually are and were very close and they would spend most of their time together before they went off to Hogwarts. The two would do many things together, including teaching each other how to play gobbstones, quidditch, wizard's chess, and how to fool dear old mom and dad even if Lucern wasn't typically a fan of doing that.

The tables turned though, when another child was born in the MacAlister family 3 years later: Etienne. He wasn't as much of a bother to Lucern and Bastien because as much as they liked attention from mom and dad, they at least had each other now. Plus, Bastien liked to help out his parents with Etienne since he could constantly change his hair to amuse Etienne. As the family of 5 continued to get along smashingly with relatively no problems, Mama MacAlister found herself pregnant for the last time with the final MacAlister child. Bastien, now 4, was hoping for yet another baby brother so that they could all play quidditch and other fun games like hide and go seek with equal teams finally. To no avail though, this child was a baby girl: Lissianna.

Bastien didn't know what to do when baby Lissianna was born. He loved her like he did any other family member but she was... a girl. He only knew boys, aside from Mama and Grandma. However, Bastien just followed Lucern and helped where he could with this new baby as well. The only acception was that with age, Bastien's metamorphagus power also grew and after much practice, he taught himself how to change his face into the animals from his picture books and he helped mother and father with Lissianna using his powers as often as possible.

As the four MacAlister children grew up together, Lucern and Bastien got along the best together and Etienne and Lissianna got along best together. None of the children favored one over the other but because of the age gaps, the children always found themselves separating into those pairs somehow. As each boy grew over the age of 4-5 (given Lucern, as he was naturally protective of his siblings), they were instructed to watch over each other - ESPECIALLY Lissianna. They were told of how she was only a young girl and if anything were to happen to her there would be dire consequences. Obviously they obeyed what their parents said but Bastien somehow didn't mind letting Lissianna slip up here and there. In fact, he was the one that was most likely to allow her to do something like have cookies for breakfast, chocolate for lunch, and ice cream for dinner. He still protected her from things like some of the children that were downright buffoons in the pureblood community though!

Time passed and while the children all got along superbly (except for a few slip-ups here and there naturally), it was time for them all to go off to Hogwarts eventually. It started with Lucern, of course, which did not go over well with Bastien. He knew it was coming but when it all happened, he didn't know what to do with himself. So, instead of talking with his family about any of it, he buried his head in books. If Lucern could learn magic now, so could he. Before Bastien knew it though, he was joining Lucern at Hogwarts.

Upon arriving at the castle, Bastien was positive that he was going to be sorted into Slytherin with his brother, following in the footsteps of the rest of his family. Things didn't go quite as well as he would have expected when he took a seat beneath the Sorting Hat though. All eyes were on him and he was sweating bullets as the hat started chattering above him. 'MMM! What a lovely mix! The right attitude for Slytherin, yes but is that where you really belong my boy? No no no. A Ravenclaw perhaps? Oh yes, strong is the 'Claw within you - very advanced, almost too smart for your own good. Ahhh but Godric's house is speaking loudly too. Methinks you to be a lion with such strong devotion to your family and your carefree--' At those words Bastien almost ripped the hat off his head but the Sorting Hat quickly stopped talk of placing him in Gryffindor. 'No no no no, none will do but ... SLYTHERIN!' With that said, the first year boy took the Sorting Hat off gladly and joined Lucern and his friends at the Slytherin table that were cheering for him.

For the next 7 years Bastien got along wonderfully with the rest of Slytherin house. He eventually became the keeper on the Slytherin quidditch team by his 3rd year. Mother and father tried to come to as many matches as possible to watch their children play quidditch and cream the other teams, bringing Lissianna and Etienne along with them when neccasary. The year proceeding his acceptance onto the quidditch team, Etienne came to Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin with his brothers. The year following Etienne's arrival, it was finally time for little Lissianna to come join her family. It was almost like old times back at home except for that this time it was in Hogwarts. They all still watched out for each other and got along superbly.

By the time Bastien's 7 years had passed, Lucern was already working at the Ministry with their father, Lissianna was a 3rd year and Etienne was a 4th year. Bastien graduated from Hogwarts with the highest marks in his class and when it came time to look for a job in the real world, he had places actually sending him letters to ask for him to come work for them rather than him going to them. He eventually started training at the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Mysteries in the Unspeakable Headquarters. Immediately after he graduated, Bastien was initiated into the Death Eater circle and joined the rest of his family with a Dark Mark. Now that 3 years have passed Bastien is still working as an Unspeakable and recently just moved out of the MacAlister Manor in Scotland (much to his family's - Lissianna's especially - dismay).

Personality: The best way to describe Bastien would be eclectic. He doesn’t quite have one single type of personality. When he’s around family he acts one way, muggles another, work friends yet another, family friends another, and school friends a completely different way as well.

When Bastien is around his family and friends from school his playful side tends to come out. You’ll most likely find him dancing around and he won’t even realize that he’s doing it as well. He tends to not be able to sit still either, even if it just means that he’s continuously tapping his foot or beating out a tune on his pant legs but most of the time Bastien doesn’t even realize he’s moving. So long as Bastien is comfortable around his friends and family, he really has no limits. He’s not afraid to speak his mind at all. For instance, if he thinks his sister’s dress makes her look like a downright tramp, he won’t feel bad to tell her to change out of her whorish dress. Out of the 4 MacAlister children Bastien is the most outspoken and outgoing.

If Bastien's around a muggle he would generally treat them like he was taught to treat them: like they’re the scum of the earth and aren’t even worthy to think of saying his name. He might slip up every now and then if it was an incredibly hot girl but he'd most likely catch himself before doing anything stupid. So long as Bastien is around family friends and co-workers that are male, he treats them with the utmost respect (so long as he truly respects them). Seeing as how Bastien was and still remains the smartest of his graduating class, he won’t object to being sarcastic or being snarky with one of those people.

As stated above, Bastien is incredibly intelligent. He was teaching himself how to read when he was a young boy and by the time he was 8, he was already trying to teach himself how to cast spells and hexes and make simple potions that a second or third year would be learning at Hogwarts (given, he couldn’t actually cast the spells or hexes because he didn’t have a wand yet but he was practicing with sticks in the yard). Along with being incredibly smart, Bastien was also almost as equally athletic. He owes that aspect of himself to his family though because if he hadn’t been forced to play quidditch with his brothers and cousins, Bastien most likely wouldn’t be as physically built or healthy.

Physical Description: If Bastien were normal, he'd be around 6’ 3" tall and weigh in around 185 lbs. but most of his weight would consist of muscle, as he does pride himself in his athletic build. His hair would be a medium shade of brown and his eyes would be a beautiful baby blue. Given the circumstances though, Bastien only looks like that when he's sleeping (if he's not having a dream). Most of the time he likes to constantly change his eyes and hair to trick people and show off a bit because what's the harm in letting the rest of the wizarding world know you're different? Bastien especially likes to make his tongue look like that of a snake - parted in two and fun to hiss at people with.

It was 2 in the morning and 6-month-old baby Lissianna lay in her crib crying her little lungs out and barely stopping, only when she was lacking oxygen. She'd already managed to wake up her mother and father, along with her two older brothers and a handful of house elves. They all crowded around the door as they patiently waited for Madame MacAlister to order them to get her something, as did a 6 year old Lucern and 4 year old Bastien. Pushing his way through into the room with his brother trying to grasp for the back of his collar so as to pull him back from entering the room, Bastien walked toward his 'Mama' who was now holding his flailing and crying baby sister.

Rubbing his eyes sleepily he tugged at the bottom of her nightgown and called up sleepily, "Mama, what's wrong with baby Lissi?" Bending down and scooping his young son up, Bastien's father looked at him and said, "Don't worry about it. Let's go back to bed, hmm?"

"No!" Bastien cried out, reaching towards his mother in a last effort of desperation, watching her as she tried to craddle Lissianna into stopping. "Can I see her?" he asked, pouting at his father, trying to coax him into taking him back over to baby Lissi. After a moment or two of questioning himself whether or not he should scold his son for telling him 'No!', his father decided it was too late and gave in and said, "Fine," before walking over to his wife's side and letting Bastien peek at the baby over his mother's shoulder. "I don't know what's so interesting about a cr--"

Bastien cut him short though, with a quick 'QUACK! QUACK!' The young boy had morphed his face to look like a duck in an attempt to amuse his baby sister. After a couple more quacks, Lissianna looked up at her brother and stopped crying almost immediately. With another quick morph, Bastien had the head of a dog and was playfully barking at the now giggling and smiling baby.

Looking at each other for a couple minutes in astonishment, Jean Claude kissed the top of his son's head (that was rightfully back to normal, given his ever-changing hair color and eyes) and put him down while Margureite placed the now-calm infant back in her bassonette. "Lucern, take your brother back to bed," Jean Claude asked of his other son that was now standing in the doorway by himself. "As you wish, father," Lucern said as he grabbed ahold of his little brothers shoulder and pushed him out the door, closing it behind the two of them.

"That was pretty cool what you did in there Bas," Lucern said as he pushed his kid brother along. "But I would not tell Papa 'No!' again like you did. You are lucky you did not get an Unforgivable used on you for that stunt!"

With that said, Bastien trudged into his room and before closing the door, he peeked his head out and looked across the hall to Lucern's room. "But at least we're going to sleep now, aren't we?" Smiling at his brother's response of a rather forced and hesitant 'Yes,' Bastien closed the door to his room and hopped back into his warm and comfy bed.

Personal History: Born to a wealthy Pureblooded family, Dira is an only child. Growing up, she was spoiled often by her father and her nanny-- her mother, honestly, could've cared less for her after she was born. She considered Dira at fault for the ruining of her figure and the failing of her health. Likewise, Dira cared very little for her mother, up until she died of dragon pox when Dira was twelve. No tears were cried by Inga Wilde's daughter at her funeral. As for her father, Abraxas, he doted on his daughter, especially after his wife's death. He encouraged his daughter to also join the ranks of the Dark Lord after she left school, and, always a daddy-girl, she did. Dira currently works as the Junior Undersecretary to the Minister and was loving every minute of it-- until she was transferred with the rest of the Ministry detail to Hogwarts. Ugh. Children.

Occupation: Lucern is an Obliviator for the Ministry of Magic. Although the job title sounds rather lethal, it surely is not. An Obliviator wipes the mind of people (mainly Muggles) that have witnessed events that are meant to be kept secret, or perhaps threatening to the wizarding way of life. Depending on where the witness may live within the United Kingdom, he would have to travel a great deal but nowhere leaving the isles.

Personal History: Lucern MacAlister started as a spoiled child. It came with the territory of being the only child of a wealthy family. They would give him everything he asked for, even when he was not old enough to speak. At the age of two, the attention dropped somewhat when his younger brother, Bastien, was brought into the world. After that, Lucern was less and less spoiled as the attention to both boys became equally divided. Lucern, at first, loathed his younger brother and always picked on him but then he grew to love him once he got used to him. They became very close. The two of them would wrestle around, as all brothers do, but Lucern knew when to settle down once it came to his studies. When Etienne was born, Lucern had grown up to be about the age of five. More or less, he clung closer to Bastien but he still loved his youngest brother immensely, and always tried to take care of him when could while he was still an infant. Once Etienne grew up though, he got the same treatment as Bastien. However, everything changed a year after the last boy of the family was born, and they were given a sister, Lissianna. They were told by their parents to be careful with Lissianna and to look out for her, and Lucern took that very seriously, which he still does.

By the age of 11, Lucern had practically grown into the man he would become later in life. He was refined and classified by his wealth. The boy was serious about his learning and had dreams about his future that he would do anything for them to turn out the way he planned. Naturally, he was placed in Slytherin. He did well in his first two years of school, which he was joined later by Bastien, then he had more fun. His favorite classes were apparent to him by then: Charms, Potions, Arithmancy, Ancient Runes and History of Magic. He had made his friends and whatnot but he still pretty much kept to his studies, unless he grew tired of them and needed a break. The rest of his career at Hogwarts when rather smoothly academic-wise, at least, and was finally surrounded by his siblings when he had reached 7th year. He was sad that he had to leave them at school but knew it would not be for long.

There were two women of worthy mention that have somewhat of a significance for Lucern that lasted throughout his years at Hogwarts. The first of the two was Madira Wilde, his long standing crush. In his mind, after he first set his eyes on her, there was no turning back it seemed; he felt he was just destined to have her. Whenever he was in her prescence, Lucern always attempted to charm her with his talent and wit. The other was Marcy Hourigan, Lucern's best girl mate. During school, he spent much time with her and felt as if he knew her inside and out, without completely reciprocating the feeling. They practically shared everything, even each other; once during 7th year, the two had spent a night together and it was something Lucern never forgot. That evening changed their relationship forever, and he always went back to thinking how further they would've changed if something happened differently that night.

At 19, Lucern set out to be a Death Eater, one of the Dark Lord’s followers. The MacAlister parents always told their children about how serving him would be most honorable and Lucern’s impression of him grew as he learned of what Lord Voldemort’s cause was while he stayed at Slytherin house. He was proud to say that he was admitted and that he served him most loyally. As to prove his loyalty, a year later, now 20, he entered work at the Ministry as a spy, and became an Obliviator with his honed knowledge of memory charms. He was rather fond of his work at the Ministry because it allowed him to wipe memories of Muggles that had witnessed displays of magic, rather than actually being able to kill them, though he would not have minded that either.

After working at the Ministry for a short time, Lucern again crossed paths with Madira Wilde, now the Minister's Junior Undersecretary. The two of them seemed to bond more than they had at Hogwarts then had proceeded to start dating. Around the time they hit the first year mark, Lucern decided to pop the question and she became his fiance.

Personality: Loyalty is the one thing that should shine out up above the rest when someone would think of Lucern. He is most loyal to family above all, and is very protective of them, especially his little sister, Lissianna. After that, his loyalty lies with the Dark Lord. Lucern knows his place as a Pureblood and would do anything to maintain that status, except to maybe hurt any member of his family, that would be including outside relatives as well, which might prove as a weakness as a Death Eater but he is absolutely sure that no member of his family would probably compromise that. It is this reason, other than preferring to not get his hands dirty too much, that he stays low rank among the Death Eaters, despite his intelligible contribution to their cause. Finally, after family and Voldemort, his friends, those who he has deemed worthy of his company and those that lie in the elitist inner circle. Even though they are last on the chain, they still all receive the same undying loyalty as the others do.

When there is a task that he needs to complete, Lucern does it wholeheartedly and will push his limits until he is near killing himself to get it done. Once it is finished, however, he begins to get paranoid about it, and assumes the worst. He is very much a pessimist, he would be sad to admit. Not just about work either, about life in general, but it is mainly when it involves a plot that he has come up with for the Dark Lord. He is fortunate enough though to be most successful with his plans, most of the time. Ambition is also one of his strong suits. He looks to out best almost everyone at everything, or strive for exactly what he wants, no matter the consequences.

In addition to getting the job done, he is a very serious person and a bit bossy. When at home with his siblings, he can be a bit pushy and manipulative, only because he is eldest and believes that they have to listen to everything he says. He does indeed though have a good sense of humor, and can be rather playful at times, but the only people that would be ever allowed to see that side of him would be his family and a select group of friends. In other words, he knows there are times to be serious and others to be merry. Very rarely does he smile, unless he’s around family. Lucern would never bring his work home with him, and if anyone would try to bring it up, he would change the subject or end up lecturing who had asked him about it. He loves both his work and his family, and prefers to keep them separate. Also Lucern knows how to control his emotions very well on assignment, which comes handy when needing to find out information.

Other than his blood, his family and his work ethics, Lucern prides himself on wealth. To live in a world without financial surplus frightens him. He is very materialistic but doesn’t rub his personal wealth in the face of others, although he does spend a lot of money to comfort himself and his kin. Ignorance about economics is not an option for him. He knows when to back off making purchases when he starts losing money, as to never see himself in the gutters. Lucern believes he deserves the best of everything and wants the money to buy all of it when he wants it. Besides that part of being elitist, he possesses all of the qualities needed to survive in the upper class world taught to him by his parents, of course.

Physical Description: Lucern has long, flowing black hair but only enough to cover his head. His eyes are almost teal shaded blue because they are so lightly colored. He stands about 6’2” tall and weighs in about 168 lbs. Lucern could certainly hold his own in a fist fight, if something ever came down to that situation. He keeps himself in great physical shape.
